VHP launches nationwide drive on Ashok Singhal's birth centenary, targets 1 crore Hindus

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) said it will observe the birth centenary of its former leader Ashok Singhal with a series of events scheduled throughout the year. The organization has outlined an ambitious outreach plan that seeks to extend its presence to two lakh villages nationwide. As part of the drive, VHP aims to bring one crore Hindus into its fold, linking them to its network of service and cultural activities. The first set of programmes will be launched in Rajasthan, with initial events taking place in Jaipur, and will later roll out to other districts across the country. The campaign also intends to deliver community service projects at the district level, reinforcing VHP’s grassroots engagement strategy.
