A United Public Service Commission (UPSC) panel met on Tuesday to finalize a shortlist of candidates for the Director General of Police (DGP) position in Odisha. The meeting was held at the commission’s headquarters and included senior UPSC officials and representatives from the Odisha Police.
The panel reviewed the application dossiers of the shortlisted candidates and assessed their qualifications, experience, and suitability for the top police post. After deliberations, the panel produced a list of candidates to be forwarded to the Odisha state government for final selection.
