Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced a target of creating 100,000 jobs within the next half‑year and handed joining letters to 28 selected candidates after concluding the interview process.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his government's commitment to generate one lakh employment opportunities within the next six months. The pledge was made during a press interaction that followed the conclusion of a recruitment drive for various state‑run positions.

The interview phase of the drive has now ended, and officials began issuing joining letters to successful candidates. Twenty‑eight individuals received their letters on the spot, marking the first batch of hires under the new employment initiative.

State authorities said the remaining selections will be announced in the coming weeks, with the aim of meeting the 100,000‑job target by the end of the stipulated period. The effort is part of a broader strategy to address unemployment and boost the regional economy.

Yogi emphasized that the job creation drive will focus on sectors where demand is high, and that the government will monitor progress closely to ensure the promised numbers are achieved.
