The Enforcement Directorate conducted a raid at TMC MP Nadimul Haque's residence in West Bengal, part of a wider sweep covering seven locations in West Bengal, Delhi and Jharkhand.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out a search operation at the residence of Trinamool Congress (TMC) Member of Parliament Nadimul Haque in West Bengal. The raid forms part of a broader money‑laundering investigation that has so far targeted seven premises across West Bengal, Delhi and Jharkhand.

According to the Economic Times, the ED team seized documents and electronic devices that could be relevant to the probe. The agency has not disclosed the exact nature of the evidence collected or any further action against the MP.

The operation underscores the central government's intensified focus on financial crimes linked to political figures. No arrest was reported at the time of the raid, and the MP's office has not issued a statement.

The ED has previously conducted similar raids in multiple states as part of its mandate to curb illicit financial flows. The outcome of this particular search will be determined after forensic analysis of the seized material.

Authorities are expected to file a detailed report with the courts once the investigation progresses, which could lead to formal charges if sufficient evidence of money laundering is established.
