The monsoon this season has been weak in Rajasthan, with rainfall falling short of normal levels, raising concerns for agriculture and water resources.
The Indian Meteorological Department reported that the monsoon over Rajasthan this year has been markedly weak, delivering rainfall well below the climatological average. Meteorologists said the deficit is evident across most districts, with many areas receiving only a fraction of the expected precipitation.
