Ujjain Police Act Against Unauthorized Procession

The Ujjain district administration had earlier directed that legal action be taken against those who take out processions without permission and play DJs above the prescribed sound limit. Following these instructions, the Mahidpur police have taken action against the organizers and DJ operators. The police have registered a case against them for violating the rules. The action is expected to curb the trend of taking out processions without permission in the city.
