The film Udta Teer has been granted a U/A certificate after the censor board asked for the removal of a scene depicting blood on a map of India; its total runtime was also announced.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has approved the movie Udta Teer with a U/A certificate after the producers agreed to delete a controversial frame that showed blood spatter on a map of India. The board had raised objections to the visual, deeming it potentially sensitive, and required its removal before granting certification.
With the objection addressed, the film now carries a U/A rating, indicating that it is suitable for viewers of all ages but parental guidance is advised for children under twelve. This rating allows the movie to be released across theatres without further legal hurdles.
In addition to the certification update, the CBFC disclosed the film’s total running time, which has been officially recorded at 147 minutes. The runtime detail will appear on promotional material and ticketing platforms ahead of the film’s scheduled launch.
