Three armed robbers steal ₹3.18 lakh from vegetable seller at Chandni Chowk overbridge, Muzaffarpur

In Brahmpura police area of Muzaffarpur, three men on two bikes threatened a potato‑onion trader with a weapon and robbed him of ₹3.18 lakh before fleeing towards Bhagwanpur.
According to police reports, a robbery took place near the Chandni Chowk overbridge within the Brahmpura police station jurisdiction of Muzaffarpur. The incident involved three unidentified men riding two motorcycles.
The assailants approached a local vegetable vendor, identified as Munshi, who trades in potatoes and onions. They displayed a firearm and forced the trader to hand over cash.
The thieves seized approximately ₹3.18 lakh in cash before escaping on their bikes, heading in the direction of Bhagwanpur.
Local police have registered a case and are reviewing CCTV footage from the overbridge and nearby streets to identify the perpetrators and recover the stolen amount.
