Thieves Threaten Guard Sticks While Stealing Diesel from Truck in Katni's Lamatra Area

Katni, Madhya Pradesh – In the daylight hours, a group of thieves entered a truck parked in the Lamatra industrial area and began extracting diesel directly from its tank. According to the CCTV recording obtained by local authorities, the suspects used a siphoning hose while brandishing sticks and rods to intimidate the on‑site security guard.

When the guard attempted to intervene, the men threatened him with the sticks, warning that they would cause serious injury if he interfered. The guard, unable to stop the theft, watched as the perpetrators filled containers with the stolen fuel and then escaped the scene.

Police officials have released the video to the public and are actively seeking the individuals involved. Investigators say the footage provides clear visual evidence of the suspects' faces and the vehicle used, which will aid in their identification and arrest.
