Suspect Sukhdip Singh Escapes After Pushing Police During Weapon Seizure in Rajasansi, Amritsar

Police officials said they moved to a residence in Rajasansi, a town in Amritsar district, after receiving intelligence about illegal weapons stored there. The operation was intended to confiscate the arms and apprehend those responsible.
During the raid, the accused, identified as Sukhdip Singh, also known as "Sukh," confronted the officers. According to the police report, he physically pushed a constable, creating a breach in the cordon and managed to slip away before the team could regain control.
The escape prompted a swift pursuit, but the suspect disappeared into the surrounding area. Senior officers have launched a manhunt and are reviewing CCTV footage and witness statements to locate him.
