Student driver stabbed five times while intervening in Indore street clash

A student driver, Arpit Sharma, was attacked with a knife five times by two men and a woman near K‑T Dhaba in Indore’s Kanadia area, and is now in ICU.
Indore, Madhya Pradesh – In the Kanadia police jurisdiction, a violent confrontation erupted near the K‑T Dhaba on a city road. Two young men and a young woman, involved in a dispute with a passing motorist, turned violent when the driver, student Arpit Sharma, attempted to break up the fight.
Sharma, a college student who was driving his own car, was stabbed five times with a knife by the three assailants. Bystanders reported that the attackers fled the scene immediately after the assault.
The victim was rushed to a private hospital where he was admitted to the intensive care unit with serious injuries. Hospital officials confirmed that his condition remains critical and that he is receiving emergency medical care.
Local police have launched an investigation, collecting statements from witnesses and reviewing any available CCTV footage from the vicinity of the dhaba. The case is being treated as a serious criminal offence, and authorities have appealed for anyone with additional information to come forward.
