Police Seize Two Cattle‑Loaded Pickups on Jalandhar Bypass, Driver Arrested

Police officers on the Jalandhar bypass seized two pickup trucks that were loaded with cattle. The vehicles were found parked on the bypass near the intersection of the main road and the industrial area. According to the traffic police, the trucks were carrying a total of 25 cattle, which were intended for sale in local markets. The drivers were stopped, searched, and one was taken into custody for violating the Animal Welfare Act and traffic regulations. The seized cattle were handed over to the local veterinary department for inspection and possible relocation to a licensed animal shelter.
