Nagaland's Minister of Finance and Planning, K G Kenye, addressed a gathering of community leaders and residents on Tuesday, urging them to take full advantage of the Foreign Nationals Temporary Arrangement (FNTA) scheme introduced by the state government.
The FNTA scheme, aimed at attracting foreign talent and investment, offers streamlined visa processes and incentives for businesses that employ international professionals. Kenye highlighted that the program could boost local employment and bring new skills to the state's economy.
He called on citizens to register their interest with the state’s Department of Immigration and to consult the official guidelines, noting that early participation could secure priority access to the benefits.
The minister also emphasized that the FNTA arrangement aligns with Nagaland’s broader development goals, including infrastructure improvement and technology transfer.
