Australian batsman Matt Renshaw has broken a record previously held by India's Virat Kohli, marking a notable achievement in international cricket.
Matt Renshaw, the left‑handed Australian opener, surpassed a statistical benchmark that had been set by India's Virat Kohli. The achievement came during a recent international fixture, where Renshaw's performance pushed him beyond the previous high mark held by the Indian star.
Cricket analysts noted that overtaking a record associated with Kohli underscores Renshaw's growing stature in the game. While the exact figures were not disclosed, the milestone reflects consistency and skill, traits that have defined Kohli's own career.
The new record adds momentum to Renshaw's upcoming series and could influence selection discussions ahead of major tournaments. Fans and commentators alike are watching to see how the Australian side leverages this boost in confidence.
