Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, speaking at the Samriddh Madhya Pradesh@2047 Conclave in Bhopal, stressed that skill development and innovation will drive the state’s next growth phase and presented a central‑agency roadmap to make MP the top‑performing state.
The Samriddh Madhya Pradesh@2047 Conclave was held in Bhopal, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders and academia to chart the state’s long‑term development strategy. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed the gathering, declaring that skill acquisition will serve as the "new currency" for Madhya Pradesh, while innovation will underpin a "new economy" for the region.
Yadav highlighted the need for systematic skill training programmes aligned with emerging sectors, urging both government and private players to invest in capacity building. He noted that a skilled workforce will attract higher‑value industries and improve employment outcomes across the state.
The chief minister also referenced a roadmap prepared by central institutions, which outlines concrete steps to elevate Madhya Pradesh to the top rank among Indian states in economic and social indicators. The plan includes infrastructure upgrades, research incentives and coordinated skill‑innovation ecosystems.
