The Indian government has taken control of 39.5 acres of land that houses the Indian Air Force's sports complex at Race Course in New Delhi.
The Ministry of Defence announced that it has taken over 39.5 acres of land at the Race Course area that hosts the Indian Air Force sports complex.
The move is part of a broader effort to consolidate defence land holdings and improve infrastructure. The sports complex has been used by IAF personnel for training and recreation.
The land is located in the heart of New Delhi, adjacent to the Race Course Club. The takeover will allow the government to plan future development projects.
Officials said the transfer will not affect the ongoing activities of the IAF sports teams, and the complex will continue to operate under the new administration.
