Jalandhar Police Nab Two Men in Looting and Drug Smuggling Case

On Thursday, officers of the Jalandhar Police Department carried out a coordinated raid that led to the arrest of two men accused of engaging in looting and drug smuggling activities in the city. The suspects were taken into custody at the Jalandhar Police Station after a brief confrontation.
During the operation, authorities seized a quantity of illicit drugs, along with various items that were allegedly stolen from local businesses. The seized drugs were found in a concealed compartment of a vehicle used by the suspects.
Police spokespersons said the arrest is part of an ongoing crackdown on organized crime networks operating in Punjab. They emphasized that the seized evidence will be used in the forthcoming trial.
The two men, whose identities have not yet been released, are expected to appear before the Jalandhar court next week. The police have assured the public that they will continue to pursue any related cases to ensure law and order in the region.
