Jaipur’s Vishwakarma police have arrested Mahesh Meena’s wife, Kavita, and her alleged boyfriend, Ganesh, for allegedly killing him by adding sulfhas tablets to his juice.
Jaipur’s Vishwakarma police disclosed that a murder case involving Mahesh Meena has been linked to a pre‑planned poisoning scheme. The investigation revealed that the victim’s wife, identified as Kavita, conspired with a man named Ganesh, described as her boyfriend, to end Mahesh’s life.
According to police statements, the duo allegedly mixed sulfhas (a type of pain‑relief tablet) into a drink that Mahesh regularly consumed. The toxic dose was intended to cause a sudden cardiac event, leading to his death without raising immediate suspicion.
Both Kavita and Ganesh were taken into custody on charges of murder, conspiracy and attempted cover‑up. The police have seized the contaminated juice bottle and the tablets as evidence. They are now forwarding the case to the district court for further legal proceedings.
Authorities emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and urged the public to report any similar suspicious activities. The suspects are expected to appear before a magistrate within the next 48 hours.
