The governments of India and China have confirmed that the locations of two additional border meeting points remain undecided, pending further consultations.

New Delhi and Beijing have announced that two more meeting points along the disputed India-China frontier will be added to the existing list of dialogue venues. However, officials from both sides said that the exact locations are still under consideration and will be communicated once a consensus is reached.

The decision follows a series of high-level talks aimed at de‑escalating tensions along the Line of Actual Control. Senior diplomatic and military representatives are expected to meet at the yet‑to‑be‑named sites later this year to discuss border management and confidence‑building measures.

Both governments emphasized that finalising the sites will not alter the overall framework of the border dialogue, which seeks to maintain peace and stability in the region. They urged the media and public to await official notifications before drawing conclusions.

The move underscores the continued effort by India and China to institutionalise communication channels despite periodic stand-offs, reinforcing the importance of structured engagement on sensitive border issues.
