The Himachal Pradesh education department has launched a new attendance mechanism that records student presence three times a day in a CBSE‑affiliated government school. The system captures morning, midday and afternoon check‑ins, allowing teachers and administrators to verify attendance more accurately throughout the school day. Officials say the move aims to reduce absenteeism and provide real‑time data for parents and authorities.
