The WSC institution has been granted the Centre of Excellence – Skills tag, recognizing its role in skill development.
WSC has been officially conferred the Centre of Excellence – Skills tag, a designation awarded by the central government to institutions that demonstrate high standards in skill training and capacity building.
The tag underscores WSC's commitment to delivering industry‑relevant curricula, modern infrastructure, and robust placement mechanisms that align with national skill development goals.
Authorities expect the recognition to attract greater funding, partnerships with corporate players, and increased enrollment of trainees seeking certified skill qualifications.
Stakeholders anticipate that the Centre of Excellence status will boost the region's employability metrics and serve as a model for similar institutions across the state.
