In a separate incident at the same event, another participant attempted self-immolation by setting himself on fire. Security personnel quickly intervened, extinguishing the flames and providing first-aid before the individual was taken to hospital.
Police have detained both individuals for questioning and are investigating the motives behind the self-harm attempts. Medical teams on site attended to the victims, and the rally continued after a brief suspension.
