During a Teacher's Day celebration at Suiya Primary School in Seoni, eight pupils suffered vomiting, diarrhoea and dizziness after eating cake and were shifted to the district hospital where their condition is stable.

A Teacher's Day event was being held at Suiya Primary School in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, when a cake served to the children triggered sudden illness. Eight students reported vomiting, diarrhoea and dizziness shortly after consuming the dessert.

The affected children were first taken to Pandia Chapara Primary Health Centre for immediate care. As symptoms persisted, they were transferred to Seoni District Hospital for further observation and treatment.

Medical officials confirmed that all eight patients are currently in a stable condition and are being monitored. The school administration has not released details about the source of the cake or any ongoing investigation.

Parents were informed about the incident and advised to watch for any delayed symptoms. The incident has raised concerns about food safety protocols during school functions.

Local authorities are expected to examine the catering arrangements to prevent similar occurrences in future school events.
