The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out simultaneous raids at more than 30 locations across Jharkhand on Thursday, uncovering assets linked to an illegal coal transaction. Investigators seized documents, equipment and cash amounting to roughly ₹600 crore, according to official statements. The operation follows a series of probes into coal block allocations that have raised concerns about corruption and illicit profiteering. Authorities say the seized assets will be seized and used as evidence in forthcoming court proceedings, with charges expected to be filed against the parties involved.
