The Minister of the Department of North Eastern Region inspected a slate of development projects, emphasizing timely execution and alignment with regional goals.

New Delhi – The Minister in charge of the Department of North Eastern Region (DoNER) carried out a comprehensive review of several development projects currently underway in the north‑eastern states. The inspection formed part of the ministry's routine oversight to ensure that initiatives are progressing as scheduled and adhering to allocated budgets.

During the review, the minister met with project officials and local administrators, seeking updates on infrastructure, connectivity and livelihood schemes. Emphasis was placed on removing bottlenecks that could delay completion and on strengthening coordination among implementing agencies.

The minister reiterated the central government's commitment to accelerating growth in the region, noting that timely delivery of these projects is essential for improving living standards and fostering economic activity. The review is expected to inform subsequent policy adjustments and resource allocations.

The ministry will compile a detailed report based on the findings and share it with relevant stakeholders to guide the next phase of implementation.
