Chhattisgarh's cabinet has cleared a ₹500‑crore AI mission aimed at embedding artificial intelligence across the state's public services and industrial sectors.
The initiative, announced on Monday, will focus on developing AI solutions for healthcare, agriculture, and smart governance, with an initial rollout slated for 2025.
The government plans to partner with private firms and academic institutions to build a talent pipeline and infrastructure, including AI labs and data centers.
Officials say the mission seeks to boost productivity, improve citizen services, and position Chhattisgarh as a leader in digital innovation.
The project will be monitored by a dedicated task force reporting directly to the Chief Minister.
