The Bharatiya Janata Party in Indore has reversed its decision to expel councillor Jitu Yadav, ending the suspension that began after allegations of a house attack and abuse of a minor.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Indore has reversed its decision to expel councillor Jitu Yadav after 18 months of suspension. Yadav, a representative from the Kulkarni Nagar ward, was expelled following allegations that he attacked the house of fellow councillor Kamlesh Kalra and abused Kalra’s minor son. In a recent party meeting, BJP leaders decided to lift the expulsion, allowing Yadav to rejoin the party’s fold. The move comes as the party prepares for upcoming local elections and seeks to consolidate its support base in the city.
