A woman in Muzaffarpur has accused her teacher husband of marrying another woman and physically assaulting her when she objected. The couple was married for 28 years.
The incident occurred in the village of Badi Kothia under the Mushari police station area in Muzaffarpur. The victim, Suman, alleged that her husband, Baidyanath Kumar Yadav, a teacher by profession, married another woman despite being married to her for 28 years. When Suman objected to the second marriage, her husband allegedly physically assaulted her, causing her injuries. The couple got married on May 7, 1998.
