Bihar's health department is on high alert due to dengue, with special arrangements in place at PMCH. The state is observing July as 'Anti-Dengue Month' to raise awareness.
The health department in Bihar has taken proactive measures to combat the spread of dengue fever. A special 20-bed ward has been set up at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) to cater to dengue patients. This ward will have doctors on duty 24 hours a day to provide timely medical attention. In addition to these hospital preparations, the state is also conducting regular entomological surveillance in potential hotspots to monitor and control the mosquito population that spreads dengue.
