Bihar Farmer Beaten to Death Over Soil Extraction Protest; FIR Against 10

A farmer was allegedly beaten to death in East Champaran, Bihar, after protesting against soil extraction from his field. Police have registered an FIR against 10 named individuals and several unidentified persons.
A farmer, identified as Rambihari Pandey, was tragically killed in the Pachpakri police station area of East Champaran district, Bihar. The incident occurred when the farmer reportedly protested against the extraction of soil from his agricultural land.
Following the farmer's death, the local police have initiated action. An First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against 10 individuals who were named in connection with the incident. Additionally, the FIR includes 5 to 7 unknown persons suspected to be involved.
Authorities have made one arrest in connection with the case. The apprehended suspect has been taken into custody and sent to jail. Further investigation is underway to identify and apprehend the remaining accused.
