The Bihar Directorate of Elementary Education has announced that applications for the 2026 D.El.Ed spot admission will commence on 2 November, with the complete schedule now available.
The Bihar Directorate of Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) has opened the window for spot admission for the 2026 batch, with the online application portal becoming active on 2 November. This marks the first step for aspiring teacher trainees seeking admission under the state’s merit‑based scheme.
A detailed schedule released by the directorate outlines the sequence of events, including the registration period, document verification, counseling sessions and final seat allotment. Each phase has been assigned specific dates to ensure a transparent and orderly admission process.
Prospective candidates are urged to review the schedule carefully and submit their applications through the official portal within the stipulated timeframe. The directorate has emphasized that only applications received through the designated online system will be considered for seat allocation.
The spot admission process is part of Bihar’s effort to strengthen its primary education workforce by filling vacant teaching positions with qualified candidates. Successful applicants will undergo the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program, which equips them with the pedagogical skills required for classroom teaching.
