The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has announced a partial timetable revision for Bhopal Metro, with trains scheduled every 15 minutes during the evening rush hour starting Tuesday, September 15.
The Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (MPMRC) issued a new timetable for the Bhopal Metro that will take effect on Tuesday, 15 September. The revision is limited to the evening peak period, when trains will arrive at stations at 15‑minute intervals.
Under the updated schedule, the 6 pm to 9 pm window will see a higher frequency to accommodate the surge of commuters returning from work. All other operating hours remain unchanged from the existing timetable.
MPMRC officials indicated that the change aims to reduce crowding and shorten waiting times for passengers during the busiest part of the day. The corporation plans to monitor passenger flow and may adjust timings further if needed.
Commuters are advised to check the official metro app or station notice boards for the exact departure times. The increased frequency is expected to improve overall travel experience on the city’s growing rapid‑transit network.
