Ayodhya Illuminated by Over 30 Lakh Diyas Ahead of Diwali

Ayodhya, the ancient pilgrimage centre in Uttar Pradesh, has seen an extensive lighting effort with over 30 lakh diyas placed across its temples, streets and river ghats ahead of the festival of lights. The massive display is intended to enhance the spiritual ambience and attract devotees who travel to the city for Diwali prayers. Local authorities, temple committees and residents have jointly coordinated the installation, ensuring that the lamps are safely positioned and maintained throughout the evening. The illumination is expected to draw large numbers of visitors, boosting local commerce and reinforcing Ayodhya's cultural significance during the festive season.
