The All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test 2026, originally held on August 22, will be retaken on September 1 at Saty Sai PG College in Jaipur after a power outage halted 49 candidates.
The National Examination Agency conducted the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026 on August 22 across 200 centres nationwide. The exam is a gateway for postgraduate courses in AYUSH disciplines and attracts thousands of aspirants each year.
At the Saty Sai PG College in Jaipur, a sudden power failure disrupted the testing environment, preventing 49 candidates from completing their papers. The outage forced the examination hall to be evacuated, and the affected candidates were unable to submit their answer sheets.
In response, the agency issued fresh admit cards to the impacted candidates and announced a re‑examination on September 1 at the same venue. Candidates have been instructed to log in to the official portal for updated instructions and to verify the new admit card details.
The rescheduling aims to ensure a fair opportunity for all aspirants while maintaining the integrity of the selection process. Authorities have assured that additional technical safeguards will be in place to avoid a repeat of the incident.
