Around 1,200 police personnel and 600 volunteers will be deployed to manage security and assist pilgrims during the Kubereswar Dham Kanwar Yatra in Madhya Pradesh.
The authorities have announced that a force of 1,200 police officers will be on duty throughout the Kubereswar Dham Kanwar Yatra, complemented by 600 volunteers who will help devotees with various needs. The deployment aims to ensure smooth movement of pilgrims and prevent any untoward incidents during the religious procession.
Security measures include constant monitoring of the river ghats, the establishment of five medical points to address health emergencies, and a ban on loudspeakers and DJs to maintain a solemn atmosphere. Traffic will be diverted on designated routes to avoid congestion around the pilgrimage sites.
Organisers expect the combined effort of police and volunteers to provide timely assistance, from crowd control to first‑aid services, thereby enhancing the safety and comfort of the thousands of pilgrims expected to attend the event.
