A disturbing incident has been reported from Bihar's Samastipur district, where an 18-year-old youth was shot by unidentified assailants. The youth was playing cricket in the Rosera area when the incident occurred. According to reports, the assailants attempted to abduct the youth, but he resisted, following which they shot him in the left hand. The injured youth is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and are trying to identify the perpetrators.
