Youth Congress state chief Abhishek Chaudhary announced a digital chalk drive to highlight BJP leader Madan Rathore’s comments on Pakistan, urging young people to join the protest.
In Jaipur, Youth Congress state president Abhishek Chaudhary said the party will roll out a digital chalk campaign to draw attention to remarks made by Rajasthan BJP chief Madan Rathore concerning Pakistan. The move is intended to mobilise young voters and present a counter‑narrative to the BJP leader’s statements.
Rathore’s comments, which linked certain political decisions to Pakistan, sparked criticism from opposition leaders who argued that such statements could inflame communal sensitivities. Chaudhary described the remarks as “painful” and contrary to national interests.
The digital chalk initiative will use social media graphics resembling traditional chalk markings on walls, allowing participants to share them online. The campaign targets college students and first‑time voters, encouraging them to post the images with a designated hashtag to amplify the message.
According to Chaudhary, the strategy aims to create a visible, youth‑driven protest without physical gatherings, aligning with current public‑health guidelines. He urged supporters to spread the content widely to ensure the issue reaches a broader audience.
The Youth Congress plans to monitor the online response and may organise further actions based on the level of engagement, signalling a continued focus on contesting BJP narratives in the run‑up to upcoming elections.
