Police officials said that a young man was attacked with stones outside the Doudamev police station in Alwar district, Rajasthan, in a recent incident. The assault was reportedly carried out by a group of individuals who repeatedly pelted the victim with rocks.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition. Despite emergency medical care, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
Following the incident, Alwar police launched an investigation, identified the assailants and placed them under arrest. The accused are currently in police custody, and further inquiries are underway.
Family members of the deceased staged a peaceful sit‑in protest outside the police station, demanding swift justice. Authorities have assured that a formal charge sheet will be filed.
