The discussion focused on sectors such as energy, telecommunications, and manufacturing, where the state government hopes to attract private capital to boost employment and infrastructure.

Banerjee emphasized West Bengal's strategic location, its growing industrial corridors and the availability of skilled labour as key advantages for any large‑scale project. Ambani, representing Reliance, listened to the proposals and indicated that the company is evaluating opportunities that align with its long‑term growth plans.
