Vizag Dolphins launch grassroots drive to boost golf in Andhra Pradesh

The Vizag Dolphins, a golf outfit based in Visakhapatnam, have unveiled a grassroots initiative that will be rolled out across Andhra Pradesh to widen participation in the sport.

The programme is set to include introductory clinics, school outreach sessions and community events, using existing courses and collaborating with local clubs to introduce the game to beginners.

Organisers say the effort aims to broaden the talent pool, nurture young players and eventually raise the state’s profile in national golf competitions.

The Dolphins hope the initiative will attract sponsorship and stimulate further investment in golf infrastructure throughout the region.
