Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan graced the 50th anniversary celebrations of Geetanagar College in Assam, delivering a speech and presenting awards to distinguished alumni.
On 15 October 2024, Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan visited Geetanagar College in Dibrugarh to attend its Golden Jubilee celebrations. The event, organised by the college’s alumni association, marked 50 years of academic excellence and community service.

Geetanagar College, established in 1974, has produced numerous professionals in science, arts and public service. The Golden Jubilee programme included cultural performances, a tribute to former principals and a presentation of certificates to alumni who have made significant contributions.
College officials expressed gratitude for the Vice President’s presence, noting that his visit would inspire current students to strive for excellence. Attendees, including faculty, students and alumni, applauded the dignitary’s remarks and celebrated the college’s legacy.
