U.S. Homeland Security said a Venezuelan national was arrested Thursday night near the White House after Secret Service agents flagged a suspicious individual in a parked car, linking him to a plot to kill former President Donald Trump.
Washington, D.C. – A Venezuelan citizen was taken into custody on Thursday night after Secret Service officers identified him as acting suspiciously while seated in a parked vehicle close to the White House, according to a statement from the Department of Homeland Security.
