The Uttarakhand State Election Commission has published the final State Information Register (SIR) roll, but the voter enrolment drive continues as more citizens are being added.
The Uttarakhand State Election Commission today released the final State Information Register (SIR) roll, a comprehensive list of voters eligible for the upcoming elections. The roll is intended to serve as the basis for the official voter lists that will be used at polling stations.
Although the final roll has been published, the enrolment exercise is still underway. New registrations are being processed and existing records are being verified to ensure accuracy. The commission has urged citizens to check their details and complete any pending enrolment steps.
Officials say that the final roll will be finalized after the completion of the enrolment period and will be used to generate the final voter lists. The move is part of the state’s efforts to ensure a smooth and transparent electoral process.
