Uttarakhand Chief Minister hosted Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for discussions on state agricultural initiatives.
Uttarakhand's chief minister received Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in a formal meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation on agricultural matters. The two leaders exchanged views on the challenges faced by farmers in the hilly state and explored avenues for policy support.
During the discussion, the chief minister highlighted the need for improved irrigation, better seed distribution, and market access for smallholders. Shivraj Singh Chouhan reiterated Madhya Pradesh's willingness to share best practices and technical expertise with Uttarakhand.
Both officials agreed to set up a joint task force that will monitor implementation of agreed measures and propose further interventions to boost productivity and farmer incomes in the region.
