Uttarakhand CM Dhami Inspects NDRF Readiness in Gadarpur, Urges Tech‑Driven Disaster Response

Chief Minister Rakesh Singh Dhami toured the National Disaster Response Force’s facilities in Gadarpur, Uttarakhand, and called for enhanced use of technology to strengthen disaster response capabilities.
The Uttarakhand government’s top official, Chief Minister Rakesh Singh Dhami, visited the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) camp in Gadarpur on Tuesday.
During the inspection, Dhami met with NDRF commanders and reviewed training drills, equipment readiness and logistical arrangements.
He stressed the need to integrate advanced technology such as drones, real‑time monitoring systems and data analytics into the state’s disaster response framework.
The CM said the state would work with central agencies to upgrade infrastructure and ensure rapid deployment during emergencies.
