During the talks, Gor highlighted the strategic importance of the Northeast as a gateway for trade and people‑to‑people ties between the United States and India. Both sides agreed to deepen cooperation through existing bilateral frameworks, including the U.S. Indo‑Pacific Strategy and the U.S.–India Strategic Partnership. They also discussed possibilities for joint ventures in sectors such as renewable energy, digital connectivity, and skill development, aiming to translate policy focus into tangible outcomes for the local population.
