Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and IITTM Gwalior are set to provide hospitality and behavioural training to Ujjain's priests and auto-taxi drivers as part of preparations for the Simhastha 2028 religious congregation.

As the holy city of Ujjain gears up for the Simhastha 2028 religious festival, a new training initiative has been planned for key service providers. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) Gwalior, intends to offer hospitality and behavioural training to local priests and auto-taxi drivers.

This program aims to enhance the experience of pilgrims and visitors expected during the massive congregation. The training will focus on improving guest interaction and ensuring a welcoming environment for all attendees of the Simhastha, a significant event in Hindu tradition.

The initiative is part of the broader preparations being undertaken for the mega-event, which draws millions of devotees from across the country and abroad to Ujjain.
