The Ujjain police have made a significant breakthrough in uncovering a honeytrap racket that used Instagram to target young men. The gang would lure their victims with promises of job opportunities and then blackmail them for money. In one such incident, a young man was abducted, beaten, and forced to make an objectionable video, which was then used to extort 50 lakh rupees from him. The police have arrested ten individuals in connection with the case.
