Ujjain Celebrates Nagpanchami

The city of Ujjain recently witnessed a distinctive celebration of Nagpanchami, a festival dedicated to the worship of snakes. This occasion also marked the fifth reptile protection campaign, which was organized by Bhagat Ji Seva Sansthan. The event aimed at promoting awareness and conservation of reptiles. As part of the celebration, a unique event called 'Nagin Dance' was held, where participants were given a garland of lemons and chilies. The winner of the event was awarded the title of 'Nagar Nigam Ka Cobra'. The campaign and the celebration showcased the city's efforts towards reptile conservation and cultural heritage.
