In the early hours, two armed men fired approximately 18 rounds at the main gate and wall of Chandra Shil Vidyapith school in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. CCTV footage captured the incident.
In the early hours of Monday, two men wearing helmets opened fire on the main gate and surrounding walls of Chandra Shil Vidyapith school in the Kanti police station area of Muzaffarpur.
According to police reports, the assailants fired roughly 18 rounds before fleeing the scene. The attack occurred before school hours, when the campus was largely empty.
CCTV footage from the school’s security system captured the exchange, allowing authorities to identify the perpetrators and trace their movements.
Muzaffarpur police have launched a manhunt and are reviewing the footage for leads. No injuries have been reported, but the incident has raised concerns about security at private educational institutions in the region.
